Our Mission & Story

“Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong, it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.” — G.D. Anderson

Homelessness is more than just the absence of a home. For hundreds of thousands of women and girls around the world, including over 250,000 in the United States alone, it also means a daily struggle for safety, dignity, and basic necessities. Often, these women own nothing beyond the clothes they wear. And beyond the staggering numbers are untold stories—stories of trauma, vulnerability, and resilience. Homelessness exposes women to heightened risks of sexual assault, domestic violence, and emotional and physical harm. It affects every part of their being: body, mind, and spirit.

At beaUtybundle, we believe every woman deserves to feel valued, cared for, and confident—regardless of her circumstances. Access to hygiene products, self-care items, and emotional support shouldn't be a privilege; it should be a right. That’s why we created beaUtybundle: to deliver more than just essential items—we deliver dignity, compassion, and hope.

Each beaUtybundle includes a carefully curated selection of hygienic essentials, feminine care products, cosmetics, personalized notes, and other thoughtful items. We partner directly with homeless shelters to support their vital work and raise awareness about the challenges women face in displacement and crisis. Our goal is for each bundle to offer not only physical relief, but also emotional encouragement—a reminder that these women are seen, loved, and not alone.

Our mission is powered by a network of passionate young women across the country—our beaUtybundle ambassadors. These advocates partner with local shelters, organize community outreach, lead service days, and amplify the voices of women experiencing homelessness and abuse. Together, we strive to bring about meaningful change, one connection at a time.

At beaUtybundle, we stand for women’s empowerment, solidarity, and advocacy. Through our bundles, community work, and education, we aim to foster confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of self-worth in every woman we reach.

Because when girls support girls, powerful things happen.

How We Started

Hello! My name is Elle Ruminski, and I am the founder of beaUtybundle. Growing up in a family where community service was highly prioritized, I quickly realized that I have a deep passion for service and that, with my platform, I have the responsibility to use it for good.

In my eighth-grade year, I volunteered at various homeless shelters in my community, where I had my first direct exposure to the struggles that women experiencing homelessness face. In my sophomore year, I worked alongside a new homeless shelter, creating care bundles filled with women’s products for the women at the shelter using a grant I received. When I dropped off the bundles, I was personally able to give one of the boxes to a woman living there. The experience of seeing her open the box, which resembled a pink explosion, and watching her eyes light up and then tear up at products I take for granted every day, was single-handedly one of the most moving moments in my life. The woman informed me that she had never felt such kindness and that these were items she dreamed of affording herself one day.

Although I had previously done service, this specific service day was a pivotal moment in my life. It was a different type of experience and reward because I turned an idea I am truly passionate about into something tangible and executed it. I have always understood that I have a platform to make a difference; however, in that moment, I realized that I not only have a platform, but I also have the opportunity, agency, and drive to permit change. I always thought that service had to be this grand idea, not something simple like packaging women’s care bundles for homeless women, but I know now that no act of service is too small or too simple. Since then, I have endeavored to expand on this idea into an organization that provides products, love, and support to women experiencing homelessness, but also an organization that acts as a champion for women and advocates for our rights.

Through beaUtybundle, I have had the most incredible experiences working with shelters, building a powerful community, engaging with young women all around the country, and most importantly, learning from women in the shelters who teach you the true definition of resilience.
